For those who want to be prepared. Pre-Rigged Leaders are tied with 30 inches of premium 100 lb Varivas monofilament to a size 4 BKK Spear EWG 71-SS treble hook. Four double-barrel crimps and four stainless steel rings are included to be crimped onto the end of the leader after it has been threaded through the Top Frog®.
For maximum performance, an FG knot is recommended for connecting the leader directly to your braided main line instead of using the included crimps.
To ensure smooth operation, keep the leader straight and free of kinks or frays. A damaged leader may prevent the line from passing through the Top Frog® properly.
